 Candace Wilson

Candace Wilson has explored African and Omani deserts, Arctic and the Antarctic ice fields and Canada’s vast wilderness. As a member of the prestigious New York Explorer’s Club, her travels into the timeless beauty, silence and remoteness of these threatened landscapes allow for a profound contemplation that is essential to her artist’s being. Combining this experience with a deeper understanding of her own spirituality has provided the underlying focus and inspiration for her paintings.

Candace studied at the Ecole Des Beaux Arts in France, and has worked as a commercial helicopter pilot, a European trained sommelier, and an entrepreneur.

STATEMENT

My goal is to create paintings that help shift people's lives on an energetic and vibrational level. These paintings are richly embedded with an array of elements that create an interactive relationship affecting body, mind and spirit. Supported by new technological research into the healing qualities of colour, crystals, gems and sacred geometry, I find that contemplation of these works, can shift the consciousness from the 3rd to the 5th dimension and lead to the joy of communication with the “all that is” .
